Prescriptions – How to order
SystmOne Online
You can order your repeat prescriptions via our online services. You will need a username and password for this, contact us if you do not have one. Click TPP SystmOnline.
In Person or Post
Complete your Repeat Slip by ticking or underlining the items needed, then drop this into our 'Prescription Box' in Surgery or post it to our address.

Information sheet for using online prescription and appointment service
In order to set up your online account please visit the
surgery along with a form of ID and the reception team will be able to issue your personal log in details.
You will need to register on the practice web site at www.kingthornepractice.co.uk you will need to change your
password when you first log on.
Look after your log on form carefully until you register and destroy it afterwards. If this form is lost or stolen before you have entered your password and security details contact the practice straight away and we will be able to reset the registration so that nobody can
access it.
When you visit the practice web site using the above address you will see there is a link on the left hand side of the home screen which will direct you to the log on screen. Click on order your repeat
prescriptions, book, check or cancel appointments. You will then need to enter your username and password. Be careful when
entering your information as if it is not entered exactly as it appears in this form your registration will not be accepted.
Should you have any problems accessing the service please do not hesitate to contact us and we will try and resolve any queries.
There is also a free app available for android and apple devices for you to use this service.
Prescriptions
All prescriptions are sent electronically to your prefered local chemist via a system called EPS (electronic prescription service). Once you have ordered your prescription with the surgery it will be ready at your chosen chemist in 48hours.
If the items you are trying to order have a message at the side
saying that they need to be reviewed by a Doctor then please type the items into the box at the bottom. We can then put a request into the Doctor for these items and if the Doctor wants you to be seen we will contact you. If you have any concerns about this please don’t hesitate to contact the surgery.
Please remember, if you have a chronic disease you will need a check with the Healthcare assistant in your Birthday month.
Appointments
When booking an appointment online you will press to book then you will be asked to press confirm, if you do not press confirm at this point the appointment will not be booked for you.
Please check when booking your appointment if it is a telephone appointment or face to face in surgery.
